Free Radio Olympia Content Agreement

Note: This agreement also governs all content posted on this site by the public as well as collective members. We will remove any violating material, and block repeated offenders from accessing the site.

Passed 3/22/04 by the FRO collective with 2 stand asides and no blocks, 14 members present.

By accepting membership in the Free Radio Olympia collective, you agree to the following:

1) You will not use the radio station to promote hatred against individuals or groups of people based on gender, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, age, ability, or religion.

2) You will not make threats of physical violence against any individual over the air.

- Anyone who breaks this agreement and wishes to remain a collective member is required to attend a collective meeting to address the transgression by discussion and resolution.

- The programmer(s) in concern may be required to engage in mediation with one or more members of the collective in order to resolve the issue and ensure that the problem is not repeated. The mediator will be agreed on by all parties.

- If the collective decides by consensus that suspension or expulsion from the collective is warranted, then the collective is empowered to do so.
